Our Dance!

Hey bloggers. I'm back with my learning.  At the start of term three we did a dance Competition where we had to get in to groups of 6 or 7 and choreograph a dance with some music that had been to given by our teacher. Here is a video of our dance.

I think that the dance was hard to choreograph but doing it is easy. We got a along very well when we were practising. We practised 2 times a week so we know it well. Feel free to comment. Blog you later.

Cross Country!

Hey Bloggers, I'm back with learning. This week was Cross Country and it was really really fun but tiring.  At first I didn't want run and also I was really nervous. Well we were waiting for our turn to run, we were in rotations playing games and other stuff. here are some photos.

I think that this cross country was the best. Maybe you might have a Cross Country in your school.  I felt really puffed when and tired when I finished  the race. I think that the run was a little hard but I still did my best and I was proud of myself. Feel free to comment. Blog you later!

The Magical World Of Crazy Science - Richard & Robyn

Hey bloggers. This week we had a crazy science show in the hall with Richard and Robyn. All of the school learnt a whole lot of new stuff. Did you know that fire is science too. There were lots of science and magic tricks in this show which made it even better. Maybe Richard and Robyn might come to your school to perform some magic tricks. One of the performances Richard did was when he made a little firework in our hall. The part that surprised me a lot was when he got some powder chemical  and poured some water in the cup that had the powder in it , The chemical is called polymer. Richard said that a bubble is the thinnest object in the whole world. Here are some photos.

I think that this show was the best. I learnt a whole lot of new stuff like knowing how a nappy works, when you blow on a strip of paper it lifts up instead of it going down, bubbles are the thinnest object in the world and I learnt that for a firework you need fuel heat and oxygen. I wonder  how Richard learnt all the magic tricks and where he got the science tricks from. I think I might try some of the science tricks he performed with us but with a adult. feel free to leave a comment. Blog you later.

My Couplet Poem

Hey viewers, I'm back with my learning. A few weeks ago, we were making  couplet poems that had to do with camp. I finished my poem and published it so I would like to share it with you guys. My poem is called Trouble. Here it is.

My Inquiry Animation

Hey guys, I'm back with my learning.  When the other students were getting ready for camp, Mr Riceman showed us how to do an animation on a google slide about our inquiry topic. My inquiry topic is Snow Monkeys. I think I'm really proud of myself because It has taken me 560 Slides to just make one animation. Here is my animation.

I think that this was hard to do because you had to keep on moving the image  and making a new slide. You had to use your patients to finish your animation.  You should really do this at home. Feel free to comment. Blog you later.

Taekwondo

Hey guys, I'm back with my learning. On Thursdays we do Taekwondo and this Thursday we did a  kicking challenge for Taekwondo. If you don't know how this challenge works, what we had to do is see who can kick the highest out of the whole class. The pad where we had to kick, kept on getting higher and higher which means we had to jump  higher.  Here are the rules to this challenge. 

1. If you kick and you touch the ground or you fall down your out.
2. If you kick but then you miss your out.
3. If you don't scissor kick your out.

I think that this challenge was pretty hard because while you were kicking you had to jump really high and kick with your leg at the same time which is hard. Overall I came 4th place. Cyber smart - Blog Commenting

Hey viewers, I'm back with my learning. So yesterday for cyber smart, We looked at writing a good quality blog comment. First we had to go on a padlet that Gerard made for us and put in some sentence starters for a blog comment. This was like our brain storming. Here is a screen shot of my padlet.

 Then we had to make a copy of a Blog commenting sentence starter template and had to fill it in. Here is my template

This was really easy but took me long to do. I think when you are commenting on a blog post or something else, you should check if you have something positive, Thoughtful and helpful. Feel free to comment. Blog you later!
