Technology Rotation!

Hey bloggers! For the past few weeks on Fridays, the whole Te Waka Ako have been doing a rotation. Hauraki first started of by making geoboards with wood, hammers and nails. We had to measure around 2 centimetres between the nails. Then when you were finished, you could play with it with rubber bands. Then the next Friday, we did some kind of a technology challenge with Mr R. Basically you had to get in groups of 3. After, you got handed some items to create a structure that has to be strong and long enough to hold a marble from a table. Then with Mr Riceman, we made a circuit with a LED light and a battery. You had to make the longest circuit you could.
Here are some photos of the rotations!

I think that these sessions were really helpful because everyone learnt something new. I learnt how to make a circuit with LED lights, a battery and some more items. All these sessions were really fun. Some of the sessions were frustrating and caused you to use your perseverance, especially with Mr Riceman. Maybe you could try making a geoboard or a circus. Feel free to leave a positive, helpful and thoughtful comment.
Blog you later!!
